Glistening and gleaming, her coat looking like it was metallic, Chick floated over the sand filled arena with Olivia right next to her. Her chocolate milk eyes took in everything, and she didn't miss a beat. When Lilly seemed close to stumbling, her floaty trot shortened in stride some so it was easier for Lilly to keep up. When a horse in the line up stepped out of place into the tracking lane, Chick nickered softly and shifted over so not to run into them. Showing was Chick's life.. and soon it would be all over for her.

Lilly was just as focused. She and her mare where very in synced and sometimes it was scary. Just like Chick would adjust to her when needed, she would adjust to her mare. Lilly felt when something was bothering her mare, like bad footing, and if she had time to help fix it, she would so her mare stood square. Every movement from the two came from love and a bond deeper than most ever achieved with a horse. It was something special, and though it broke Olivia's heart to retire her mare, with a title like Hall of Fame just looming into her mare's grasp, she deserved a break to live an easy life once achieving this goal.

1st: sorry you can't see the flag in this picture... it's on her other arm and since the other half of this entry has the flag I wasn't to concerned...

2nd: I tried a new way of outlining... I like it.. but it takes FOREVER.

3rd: This is my 200th deviation.... doesn't seem like I've drawn that many pictures...
